What is CPD?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is mandatory for ALL healthcare professionals. It is part of a continuous quality and safety improvement approach to care.

The objectives of the Continuing Professional Development are:

• The evaluation and improvement of professional practices and risk management.
• Maintaining and updating knowledge and skills
• Consideration of public health priorities

This includes the acquisition and deepening of knowledge and skills, as well as the analysis of professional practices, thereby enabling the pooling of these practices.
