The French National Agency for Continuing Professional Development of healthcare professionals is a public interest group whose mission is to fulfill a non-profit mission of general interest. It consists of the State and the National Union of Health Insurance Funds (UNCAM).
Its mission is to monitor the continuing professional development of healthcare professionals, to ensure that they are trained in the best possible conditions, thereby guaranteeing quality of care for patients.
Thus, the ANDPC allocates DPC packages each year to healthcare professionals and training organizations. In order to be able to provide DPC training, organizations must receive approval from the ANDPC certifying the quality of the training.
