This training course reviews all the stages of managing a patient presenting with a cardiovascular emergency.

🔷 Description

Pre-requisites:

  • Be a healthcare system professional

Duration:

  • 1 hour independently
  • 1 hour in a group (videoconference debriefing)

HAS certification criteria:

  • Criterion 2.2-12: Teams are proficient in managing life-threatening emergencies.
  • Criterion 2.3-12: Critical care sector teams manage risks associated with their practices.
  • Criterion 3.2-04: The hospital trains its professionals in risk management using healthcare simulation tools.

🔷 Strengths

  • Filmed interview with Yêan-Lan Nguyen, anesthesiologist-intensivist and head of the Risks and Vigilance department of the AP-HP (Parisian Hospitals – Assistance Publique).

🔷 Program

PART 1: autonomous, asynchronous

  • ‍Introduction totraining
  • Pre-test (positioning test)
  • Video simulation
    • Immersive video-simulation showing the care of a patient admitted to the ICU following stenting of an ST+ elevation, on antithrombotic medication. Shortly after admission, the patient presents with a BAVc and severe bradycardia.
    • Filmed interview: synthesis and analysis of the situation.
  • ‍Post-test (measuring progress and validating skills) & Action plan
  • ‍Training assessment

PART 2: collective, videoconference debriefing

  • Video-simulation debriefing with a risk management expert
    • Identify discrepancies between professional practice and best practices to improve the management of cardiovascular emergencies.
    • Identify individual and team areas for improvement.
    • Establish an individual and collective action plan to strengthen teamwork.

In-house training session:
Price valid for one professional, group of 10 learners. Grants access to a course for a group of 10 learners + team debriefing at the end of the training. The individual price displayed will be adjusted according to the number of learners for a group larger or smaller than 10.

Individual license:
